With respect for the environment
Eleftherohori, Ano Pavliani, Dafni, Loutraki, Aghii Theodori, and other areas of the special stages will once again set the scene for the EKO Acropolis Rally, showcasing the image of Greece to every corner of the globe.
The safety of competitors, spectators, and all involved is non-negotiable for the organisers, as is the necessity of protecting the environment. Given the climatic conditions of the previous period (two dry winters, drought), the presence of spectators within the special stages must prioritise environmental considerations, especially concerning the potential risk of fire.
According to legislation for the current fire prevention period, it is prohibited to light fires, smoke, or operate outdoor grills, and there is also a ban on setting up tents within forests.
Specifically, in the area where the Eleftherohori special stage takes place, the following are prohibited:
• Camping and overnight stays
• Lighting fires and smoking
• Operating outdoor grills
• Disposing of liquid and solid waste into the environment (soil, subsoil, surface waters)
• Off-road driving
• Entry of pedestrians or vehicles into the lakes of Nevropoli, Mourouzos, Mouriza, and Paliosouvala
• Any infrastructure (temporary or otherwise) to facilitate the rally
Additionally, all rubbish must be disposed of in the designated bins (green, blue), and rubbish bags will be available at various points along the route.
The Organising Committee of the EKO Acropolis Rally encourages spectators who choose to travel to Eleftherohori special stage to park their vehicles near the residential areas.
