#69 Kalle ROVANPERÄ / Jonne HALTTUNEN

“This is the maximum pace I can drive the car at the moment. We made some changes to the car.”

#8 Ott TÄNAK / Martin JÄRVEOJA

“I try to push. The beginning was not so bad with our road position. After that it is very loose. It was a good stage, but it was so long - like a never-ending story!”

#11 Thierry NEUVILLE / Martijn WYDAEGHE

“I had a good stage. I am carrying two spares and that’s a disadvantage, but it will be interesting to see what will happen with the tyre wear in the next stage. We had a clean stage. The dust is an issue , and it’s  interesting to see what happens in the next stage inside the trees.”

#33 Elfyn EVANS Scott MARTIN

“Very mixed conditions and grip at the moment.”

#18 Takamoto KATSUTA / Aaron JOHNSTON

“I struggle to find the rhythm. There is no grip, it’s really hard for me.”

#42 Craig BREEN / Paul NAGLE

“There is a lot of dust. The boys behind are going to be fast. In the last kilometers it’s very loose, but it was a nice stage.”

#4 Esapekka LAPPI / Janne FERM

“I can’t do better.”

#19 Sébastien LOEB / Isabelle GALMICHE

“The Hyundais are pushing. But I push too. It was a very long, difficult and demanding stage. It was important to come here without mistakes.”

#6 Dani SORDO / Candido CARRERA

“It's okay. Ott is our team-mate and if he is making these times, then it's fine!”

#44 Gus GREENSMITH / Jonas ANDERSSON

“I am struggling with the car when I turn right. Difficult to find rhythm.”

#7 Pierre-Louis LOUBET / Vincent LANDAIS

“It was very slippery. I was surprised. We did what we could. It was tricky.”

#9 Jourdan SERDERIDIS / Frederic MICLOTTE

“It was quite nice at the beginning. We had a lot of cleaning, but it's ok. This is part of the game.”

COMMENTS

Ott Tanak sets an incredible time and wins his first stage of the EKO Acropolis Rally. SS Pyrgos with a length of 33 km was very demanding and we saw a lot of changes to overall classification. Sebastien Loeb manages to stay at the lead and increases his lead from second to 19 sec. Thierry Neuville is now second in front of Pierre Louis Loubet.
