“Today it was quite rough. So far we are driving nice. Tomorrow we want to take care of the car and the tyres. Now we are very safe after Mads’s [Ostberg] retirement, which of course is very sad. For sure I will try to win. I have saved the soft tyres and now we are in a good position. Tomorrow we will have the same strategy, without risks”.

“We had a strong start and we need to continue the same way, because the team is fighting for the Championship. The car was very good in terms of set-up. The most difficult stage for me was SS5, because the grip was inconsistent”.

“We had only one front left puncture in SS3. After two terrible events we have to finish. We are trying to stay out of trouble. I like the stages a lot, especially Elatia. It’s one of the most enjoyable I have driven, definitely the most enjoyable in 2021”.

“It’s my first in a 4WD or turbo car in Europe. It is a great experience. The pace of the top drivers in the category are awesome. That’s WRC. It’s a great experience and fun. Today we didn’t have any major problems, apart from two slow punctures in road sections.”
