“We don’t know what is wrong with the engine. We worked between the stages to fix it, but the problem is still there. The engine is misfiring and it runs with three cylinders. Most of the time we had less power”.

“I think we did the best thing we could this morning. Rhythm is good. The stages are very loose, especially when you are second on the road. I am pleased with the position so far. I have more soft tires in the car. The car moves a lot, but in the loose gravel it seems to have more traction. I was surprised, but the times are good and I am pleased. The second loop will be very demanding and maybe we have to change the setup”.

“Clean loop. We have no dramas. The first two stages were OK. We made a safe tire choice this morning. Maybe it could be better with the soft tires. In the last stage maybe we made the wrong setup”.

“We don't know the reason for the engine problem. We have no power at all. The technicians have to find out. For the rest of the weekend the main target is to have a good feeling with the car”.

“I’m quite happy with the pace this morning. We have lost the hybrid in the first stage and it wasn’t so good for the next stages, but we are very happy to be second now. We also had Elfyn’s dust, because he was very slow and we lost some time on the last part of the stage, but it was a quite OK morning”.

“It’s OK at the moment. I expect to have more advantage starting from the back. It could be a little better. We had quite different tire choice”.

“We struggled with a problem with the neutral in the gearbox in the first stage, and in the next ones the handbrake didn’t work. The car couldn’t turn”.

“In the first we had some problems with the dust. In the second and third stage it was better for us. But OK, we are here! It’s a big Rally”.
