“So far we had a clean run. The conditions are difficult. There is a lot of loose gravel and we are losing time from the cars behind. We will try to stay as close as possible on the lead. ”

“It’s difficult out there. The cleaning effect is big. It’s difficult to feel really good in the conditions we had, but it’s not so bad either. Every stage feels different. There is a big variety. It's really hard to find something that suits all the conditions.”

“Things are getting a little bit better, but it’s obvious I am missing something. I don’t have a good feeling and we are losing a lot. I found something which is good, but it is still far from being perfect. Pacenotes are also not working well. I will try to manage the next two stages. I just try to be smart.”

“It was OK. The feeling with the car was good at the start. I could push hard to the stages. We made one mistake in the last one, so we are still close to the lead. We lost it for a few seconds, but you can see there is an intense fight. The first five cars are very close. It’s very interesting. I was hoping to find the rhythm quickly and that was great. But this is only the beginning of the Rally. Pierre Louis sets very good times! It is really good for the team and it shows that the car is performing well. We try to continue like this.”

“It’s not the rhythm we expected when we came here. We have some problems with the pacenotes. I don’t know what happened. In the last stage, I was just one second slower from the faster time, but then I lost a lot. And that's strange.”

“It was an OK morning for us. The speed was good when we got it right. But the mistake in the last stage cost us a lot of time. There is a long way to go. Especially the last one of the day is very rough and difficult.”

“We have to do the same thing. The last stage was very important. We had the best road position, we took the advantage and gained the lead. We have to stay like this and -fingers crossed- not to make any mistakes.”

“We have some problems with the car. We have a damper which is broken from the previous stage. We also have a problem with the throttle. We will try to repair the damper, but it may not work.”
