STAGE FLASH SS3

Date: 9/9/2022
Day: 2
Flash N°: 5
Special stage: SS3 Harvati
Distance: 14.42 km
Weather: Sunny
Road conditions: Rough, loose gravel

#69 Kalle ROVANPERÄ / Jonne HALTTUNEN

“I think we just don’t  have the right things on the car at the moment. At low speed the car is not really working. We are going to lose some time here.”

#8 Ott TÄNAK / Martin JÄRVEOJA

“In some places it is still tricky. But at least now you can see. At this stage it is so loose and the speed is low. You cannot make so much difference.”

#11 Thierry NEUVILLE / Martijn WYDAEGHE

“It was ΟΚ. It's cleaning a lot and the cars behind will be faster. We are going to fight with them. There should be a 4 minutes gap in the previous one also. It's gonna be tricky to keep up with them.”

#33 Elfyn EVANS Scott MARTIN

“It was better with the dust in this one. We needed more the 4-minutes gap in the previous stage, but it’s the same old story.”

#18 Takamoto KATSUTA / Aaron JOHNSTON

“It's not working. Myself also. I need to do something. It’s not nice.”

#42 Craig BREEN / Paul NAGLE

“Quite OK. Difficult conditions. There is no dust, but it’s slippery. We are here and that’s important.”

#4 Esapekka LAPPI / Janne FERM

“I am trying my best. It’s tricky to keep the car on the road. We were sliding all the time. I am doing my best and the car is working perfectly.”

#19 Sébastien LOEB / Isabelle GALMICHE

“The car is really good. The stage is twisty and there are a lot of stones. That makes it tricky for the tyres. But it’s OK.”

#6 Dani SORDO / Candido CARRERA

“It was very slippery in the rear and difficult to keep the car in the line.”

#44 Gus GREENSMITH / Jonas ANDERSSON

“It's OK. It felt like a clean drive. Seb (Loeb) is a nine-time Champion for a reason, and you can always learn from him. He is always a benchmark.”

#7 Pierre-Louis LOUBET / Vincent LANDAIS

“It was a bit more tricky than the previous one. I was a little bit careful with the car. Difficult in some places. I thought I would do better.”

COMMENTS

Sebastien Loeb set another fastest stage time and remained at the lead of the Rally with a 2.7 sec gap from Thierry Neuville. The Belgian is now second ahead of Pierre-Louis Loubet, who is setting some impressive stage times!
