“I enjoyed my comeback to Greece. It wasn’t a typical Acropolis rally, much colder and humid than we know it, but I feel happy. I made a big step towards the Championship, I extended the lead. It’s been a tough week and I am completely exhausted right now, I’m glad it’s over. It was pretty clear on Saturday that Kalle and Ott started a different level of attack, and from this moment on I just focused on myself, kept my ego outside and accepted that I’m not fighting for the win. I kept the main picture in front of my eyes, the Championship, and in that way I think we did a very clever race”.

“We would like 5 points [in the Power Stage], but Kalle had other ideas. Overall the feeling was good in the car during the weekend. We got whatever points we could out of this weekend - still three rallies to go, anything can happen. We will continue to give our best. It’s a big fight for four of us, even if first place is realistically unreachable. At least this will make the rest of the season interesting”.

“We are quite disappointed about how the weekend went. Championship for us is probably over, so we are looking forward to the remaining three rounds. Hopefully we can get another victory this year and get as many podiums as possible until the end of the season”.

“It feels really good. It was a tough weekend and a really challenging rally. Feels good to finish it like this. When we started the Power Stage, I felt that tyres and everything is working well, so I felt I can push and try to get the points. Finland will be a tough rally this year, the level is really high now, we are competing with the Hyundai guys quite a lot, it’s gonna be a tough fight”.

8       OTT TÄNAK/MARTIN JÄRVEOJA

“At the end of a challenging weekend, it is good to come away with second place and another podium. We haven’t had the easiest rally, but we have worked hard to find improvements to get a better feeling from the car, and there have been some positive signs. Kalle has been on top form since the very start, so we have had to focus on confirming second place. We have made some bold decisions on tyres, which has only been possible because of the work of our weather crew. I’d like to say thanks to them for a great job. We know there is more work we need to do, but I think we’ve achieved all that was possible in Acropolis with second place”.

“I was looking forward to the battle with Adrien, but unfortunately he had some issues. We didn’t push today, we didn’t have the pace to challenge for stage points. I wasn’t fighting for anything, I could only lose today, not gain anything. It was the most boring day of my life. Fifth place was good”.

6       DANI SORDO/CANDIDO CARRERA

“I feel OK, I finished in fourth place, not perfect but OK. The conditions were really difficult and the Recce too”.

16      ADRIEN FOURMAUX/RENAUD JAMOUL

“It’s a shame to lose the fifth position, but I’m positive and I can just remember that my pace at the beginning of the rally and the one at the end were very different. Looking at my pace today, I can be happy. I can only be happy and I learned a lot in this rally”.

“It was a perfect weekend for us. The rally was great and there were so many fans in the special stages. I'm very glad that I participated in the event. Everything went well. We had fun!”
