Finland’s Juuso Nordgren was 0,021 sec. faster that Alexey Lukyanuk on the Qualifying Stage that opened the 2018 EKO Acropolis Rally, round 3 of the European Rally Championship.
The promising 21-year old driver started his ERC career in style, proving his speed first time out. Toping the Qualifying Stage gave him the opportunity to be the first to choose his starting position for tomorrow’s stages - and his selection was place 12. After him, Lukyanuk chose place 15.
In other news, Greek 2016 champion Giorgos Filippidis withdraw from the Rally before the start of the QS for personal reasons, while Russia’s Artur Muradian flipped his Peugeot 208 R2 in the stage but returned to the Service Park with nothing but minor damage.
